52/52 - The 52 Project - We've made it!!!!!

52, a portrait a week of my children...
Luca loves Christmas Pudding! He even managed to spill it down his front on Christmas Day.
That didn't stop him from asking for more though!

All Remi asked for from Santa was his own Elf, he loves him! His eyes sparkled so much when he opened his Santa Sack.
Such a simple request, as always, from this little boy.

Thank you Friends, for spending the year with us and watching my boys grow. Your comments have been wonderful, and I have really loved looking at your photographs as well.

I don't know about you, but I am hoping to do this all again in 2014. My photography needs a lot of work, so I want to continue on our journey together.

Here's wishing you all a wonderful 2014, may it be filled with fun, laughter and lots of love!!!

52, a portrait a week of my children...

Oh this gorgeous boy was feeling so poorly at our family BBQ, high temps and nausea whilst sitting by the lake. All he wanted to do was play with his cousins whom we've hardly seen this year. He'll have to wait now, until January , when we visit their home in the Hunter Valley - we can't wait!!

A big step for this little guy this week. He finished up Pre-School, or as we call it, Kindy.
He has been going to the same Centre for the last 4 years,
he's already missing it, but really looking forward to Kindergarten in January.

52, a portrait a week of my children...

We just put up the Christmas Tree and Luca is so very excited that Santa will be coming soon. If you don't believe, you don't receive, right?

Remi's favourite thing to do while I am hanging out the laundry is to sit atop the clothes line and chat. I'm going to miss it next year when he is at School.

Ten on Ten - December!!!

I started off bright and early this morning. I had some Etsy orders ready to be sent out today.

The kids woke up about an hour after me. First thing they look for every morning is Zart!
I wonder where he will be tomorrow...

A special treat, I made some pancake batter last night ready to cook for breakfast this morning.
The kids are so bored with the usual toast and cereal. Mmm, Nutella!

I missed a few hours of taking photos in the middle of the day, as I was out in the heat running errands.
At about 2:30pm I made some pizza dough, ready to rise for a few hours, for this evening's dinner.

Remi had some LEGO time.

I added a few more decorations to the tree.
Luca made this one at Cubs last week, you would never guess that it's made from safety pins.
It's so pretty!

Luca came home from school and decided he had to count his pocket money.
I am trying to get him to save it up, but he keeps finding new things to buy.
Today he wanted the Plants vs Zombies video game- Mac edition.
Funny thing is, he has it on the iPad already - I don't get it!
I didn't let him buy it, am I a meany?

Late afternoon... such a beautiful part of the world we live in!

I went to hang out some laundry around 5pm and this is who I found in the
backyard waiting for me, he is sitting on top of the washing line - so funny.
Oh, and he is giving himself bunny ears - hahahahaaa, he makes me laugh!

Playing Minecraft

Thanks for looking guys!

I had a pretty normal day, nothing out of the ordinary, unlike yesterday, but that's a whole other story!!!

See last year's 10 on10 HERE.

52, a portrait a week of my children...

They both spent hours playing with bubble wands, making their own potions with the mixture. Everything was covered in slimy liquid. Remi had SO much fun, my little boy is getting so big!

Luca took a quiet moment by himself to wander at the edge of the sea. Such a peaceful photo, you would never have guessed how windy it was.

Late nights and early mornings...

It seems I'm my most productive late at night, and early in the morning. My sketchbooks are filling up so fast lately. Loads of ideas make their way out at the oddest times. In the middle of cooking dinner I sometimes just start doodling, and new designs start emerging. Sometimes I'll go back to a drawing or painting from a year ago and re-work it, totally change it up. Not all of them work, but I'm happy most of the time.

A week of drawing (the best parts)...

52, a portrait a week of my children...

We spent the weekend in the Blue Mountains with family.

Remi loved "the waterfalls, and the pool at the Resort" the most.

Luca loved "the whole weekend, especially Scenic World".

I know these are touristy shots, but I love them anyway!
