52, a portrait a week of my children...

Remi loves to be outdoors, climbing. We went on a bush walk and completely wore him out. The view was spectacular!

Luca's favourite thing to have for dinner is a hamburger, home made of course. After a big day out in the beautiful sunshine, he devoured his dinner so fast!

52, a portrait a week of my children...

Remi came out of his bedroom as a superhero this morning, he always makes us laugh.
Look how strong he is lifting up that big heavy building!!!

Both boys were painting on canvas this week, Luca decided to paint his pet guinea pig - Ginger.
I think it looks amazing, how about you?
I didn't realise that I only took photos with my iPhone this week, sorry for the poor quality, I'll do better next week. :)

Brand New Website!!!

It's only taken a few years of thinking about it, to finally doing it!! Creating an Art Website for myself that is! I always thought it would be so hard to do, and it was before now! I've been writing my Blog since 2007 and have probably thought about creating a website a couple of hundred times since then, so now it's a reality and I'm a tad bit excited, can you tell?

These days, it's so much easier to build your own website. I found a hosting website called Wix who provide free templates and websites to anyone who wants to create one. I thought I would try it out, and I was instantly hooked - uploading my art, being able to preview, create multiple pages within the site, add text, different fonts, photos, social media icons and links - everything!!! So freakin' easy!!!

I did however, upgrade to a Premium site so I could have my own Domain name, but for around $150 a year, that's nothing. And!!! I am already getting sales in both my Etsy Shop and my Society6 Shop just from people looking at my website and heading on over to buy things!

I still have so many photos of my earlier art to upload but I am really happy with how it's turned out so far. If you'd like to have a look, just go HERE! Please let me know what you think! xx

Ten on Ten - November

I'm not joining in with the "Full Harvest" prompt because we are heading into Summer here in Australia. The weather was trying to be Fall like, but we all know otherwise. Even though it was a stormy cold day, those hot crispy days will be here again in a day or two.

We had a huge day Saturday with swimming training, a bike ride and the Great Moscow Circus. I thought Sunday would be more interesting but it turned out to be a pretty low key rainy day. My lovely hubby took the kids into the city, to his office, to the kids Christmas party they were having. So I spent most of the day at home, by myself, which I really enjoyed.

Little Remi is obsessed with balloons at the moment. He found a whole bunch of water balloons in the cupboard and it has become his mission to use all 100 of them in 2 days.  He has been blowing them up and tying them himself which he is pretty chuffed about. (He threw all the water bombs at us  on Saturday when it was a bit warmer). Both boys made a mini version of themselves - so funny.

Tidying up toys...
 A souvenir from the circus..

My Father in Law dropped in for his usual Sunday morning visit before he went to work. He bought over some flowers (as he often does) to brighten up the place. He gave the boys a rainy day treat - mini Meccano sets. They sets took a while to put together but they were so pleased with themselves when they were done.

Lunch for me, was Vegemite on Turkish bread toast - yum!

I cleaned up a little bit while they were gone today, but also had some time to get some ideas out of my head and onto paper. I can't walk past the kids textas without drawing something in my mind.

On their return home they had some helium balloons (from the party) so they joined their balloons to mini balloon versions of themselves that they made earlier this morning.

A game of GoFish before a short movie and then it was lights out!

It was a really lovely weekend.

Thanks for stopping by, see you next month!!

See last November's 10 on 10 here! They grow so fast!

Catching up!

52, a portrait a week of my children...

I'm back-tracking a month because I missed a few weeks. I took the photos but didn't have a chance to upload them.

Remi loves watermelon, in chunks! He loves sitting at the kitchen counter bossing everyone around, I guess it makes him taller.

Luca is caring, loveable and cheeky, all at the same time. He needs a haircut but wants to grow it longer.

Both of their freckles make me love them even more!

The 52 Project, a portrait a week of my children...

Time for swimming! I asked Luca not to smile because he is starting to smile like his guinea pigs lately, he scrunches his face up and pokes his front teeth out! He makes us all laugh so much.

Remi demolished his bedroom and came out wearing this hat, and a pair of underpants, none of us even know where the hat came from...
We had Halloween this week, but my photos were only so so, the kids were too fast for me! I did manage a few snaps throughout the week of my boys though.
