The 52 Project, a portrait a week of my children...

Remi taking a break from the crowds.

Luca loved this art on the Bondi Beach boardwalk / graffiti wall.

We went to Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi this morning. It's always such a fun and colourful day. We all enjoy it so much, interacting with the sculptures, seeing what is around the next corner, being surprised by wonderful and unusual, giant sculptures. This is our 6th year in a row, it's one of our favourite things to do together.

Flat Out!

A lot has been going on around here lately. I have so many things happening it's sometimes hard to keep up. I've been drawing and/or painting and designing fabric patterns every other day. The paintings below are a few smaller pieces that I have plans for in the near future. I love the evening's once the kids have gone to bed, it's one of my most creative times of the day.

I also have my Society6 products keeping me busy, resizing, re-colouring etc.

I am planning a GIVEAWAY in November of some of my Society6 products, maybe an iPhone Case, a few Art Prints, and some Stationery. (*edit - Giveaway now planned for January 2014)

Make sure you "LIKE" my Facebook Artist Page for updates on upcoming events and the GIVEAWAY.

Along with all that, we are getting some house plans drawn up for a full-on renovation to our home (and a new Studio for me *squeal*).

Our boys are growing SO fast, so I am trying not to miss any of the wonderful things they are doing. We have slowed down with after school activities this term so that we can enjoy afternoon swims at the beach or pool, the weather is heating up and we love being outside. I am feeling a little overwhelmed, but excited at the same time. As the saying goes, "So much to do, so little time"!

Thanks for stopping by...

52, a portrait a week of my children..

Little Remi LOVES to draw anything and everything. He has a writing pad and pencil with him at all times. He took a moment by himself to sit by a tree in the city, in Hyde Park, to draw Dracula and a bat, it was the sweetest thing.

Luca is always trying to invent something. He had a rubber band in his pocket, so he searched all the gardens in the park to find a Y shaped stick to make a slingshot, it kept him busy for ages. They were so happy to be out and about on a Saturday evening, as were we.

Ten on Ten on the 15th

Hi Again!

I'm a little late for this month's 10 on 10 photo project. I took loads of photos on the 10th but have only just managed to upload them.

It was a sweltering hot day and I had a random migraine in the middle of the day. I still managed a bit of painting, and a lovely afternoon at the lake entrance, the kids said it was the best afternoon EVER!

Fruit smoothies for breakfast.

Finishing off some small paintings

Waiting for Daddy to get home so we can go to the beach

52, a portrait a week of my children.

Week 41 has been full of fun! Hot days and nights, lots of playing together and a few afternoons at the beach.

Remi has a little bit of money burning a hole in his pocket this week so he bought some Glitter Globes and made them all himself.

He had just woken up and wanted to be with his brother out on the balcony,
so peaceful.

He is always drawing, he looked up just at the right moment with this goofy look. Such a sweet boy.

Luca playing LEGO in the morning sun, before it gets too hot, still in his PJ's.

52, a portrait a week of my children...
I can't believe we are up to Week 40 already!

Little Remi loves to "swim" in the bath. He puts things in that sink to the bottom so he can look for them with his goggles on. He also learnt to ride his bike without training wheels this week, I was too excited and forgot to take a photo, I wasn't prepared, he took us all by surprise how easily he did it!

Luca loves to play games, like Battleship or Jenga, with his Dad or myself, he loves the one on one time. It's sometimes hard to catch him though, he is always so busy thinking up new inventions, he is constantly drawing amazing pictures.
