He's Peter Pan (and Captain Hook!)

Untitled

His new dress up costumes came in the post yesterday. He only took them off to sleep last night, and now he is wearing both at once, watching the movie "Hook" from 1991 with Robin Williams - he is obsessed! Remi, you are so sweet!

Look at those cheeks & lips!

Cute cheeks!
Everytime he finds one, he blows and wishes for a Peter Pan costume. Don't tell him I ordered one online... shhhhh...

My studio today...

Full steam ahead in my studio today.
I have decided to do an upcoming Market at my son's school in November. I would normally sell crafty kids stuff, but I'm all about the A R T these days. I've done some small affordable bright paintings to sell. I'm getting them all framed so hopefully they'll look really good.

Giraffe's are lovely!

Untitled
I started this painting three days ago after I heard the lovely news from my brother about his Engagement and Baby news. They have been asking for a painting for a while and I just got the urge to paint this giraffe. We've had previous conversations about giraffe's and how much they like them, I hope they like this one. I haven't finished yet though. I've only done a couple of hours work on it, I think it needs more colour.

We had a belated birthday celebration for my 8 year old and his 2 cousins today. There was an Engagement announcement and Baby news, as well as 3 adult birthdays. Thanks for a lovely day everyone. xo

Same View, Different Days

I've been waking up around the same time as the sun lately. The weather has been just about perfect, so I grab my camera and take a quick shot of the view from here, it's never the same as the day before. Beautiful!

Sea Life & Wild Life

We had some school holiday fun on a long weekend, Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife World. I always love a chance to take my camera on an excursion. This one was going to be a little tricky though, low light (and no tripod), fast moving fish, and fingerprints all over the glass. I was doomed from the start. I thought I did pretty well considering, there are a couple of decent shots.
