Some Bling!

I have been eyeing these Pandora charm bracelets off for a while. Yesterday I bit the bullet and bought one. I LOVE IT! The charms I bought are, a hippo (my favourite animal), a giraffe (just a cute charm), a strawberry (my favourite fruit), a shell ( I live near and love the beach), a solid heart as well as a silver ball with mother of pearl tiny hearts all over it (because I love love). I love the idea of Luca and Remi being able to choose charms for me for my birthday and Christmas. I can just see them going with daddy to choose.

Beep Beep!

Look what arrived in the post today. I want to make a play mat with a drawstring for Luca's LEGO out of the Beep Beep fabric, so we can scoop it up in the mat every afternoon. The little bits on the floor are driving me crazy. I also want to make Remi a quilted "take everywhere" play mat. I thought these Beep Beep fabrics were perfect.

The others are just a few to add to my stash. I love dots for some reason, and it is hard to find cool boy fabrics, so I grabbed these pirate style ones as soon as I saw them on sale for $4.95 a yard. Yay! I love a bargain.

JULY SO FAR

It has been fun trying to amuse a very outgoing 3 1/2 year old while I am breastfeeding a baby. He makes his own fun most of the time. Here he is in the baby car seat, or as we call it, "the Bucket". He fits well. It feels like just yesterday that he was in one of them.
Remi is just smiling and goo-ing all the time. His dimples are beautiful.
There aren't many pictures of me... now you can see why. I need a complete makeover, which I plan on having in a month or so. I got a gift voucher from a spa just down the road for my birthday last month ( I turned thirty something). I just have to get Remi on a proper feeding schedule so I can go.
Oh, life is so much fun. My mum took these pics 2 weekends ago. They were having a blast together.

We have been having a few chilly days lately, the perfect opportunity to dress my baby like Tigger - right???
We still spend a lot of time at the various parks in the area. This one is in our street, 50 metres away, good for a quick visit to get rid of cabin fever.

And the beach is at the bottom of our street - we love it!
Tummy time for Remi.
This is where he has fun while I am working on the computer downstairs.
Last week World Youth Day (week) was happening in Sydney. Nick and Luca decided it was a good opportunity to walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge while it was closed for the pilgrims to do their 3km walk to Randwick. They had so much fun, even though they aren't even slightly religious. It is a rare thing for the bridge to be closed. What a beautiful day for it.

Cross eyed.
Such cute toys.
These are just a few lovely photos of Remi to show the relo's.

Been away a while...

Our beautiful new baby boy REMI was born on the 2nd of May. All went well with his birth, it was just longer than I thought it would be. I have added a few posts below for you to catch up. Noting creative, just about us.

Remi is now almost 10 weeks old and is just a gorgeous little good boy. I have been getting enough sleep most of the time. Only on the odd occasion does he have me up more than once a night. I am getting my creative mojo back and have a few things in the making. I will write about them soon. I plan to post more now that things are going along smoothly, so keep checking back.
